Sunday 21st September - walks ***** – Levington Marina – sunny
periods and warm.
We were asked to have Maeva for a bonus day which left me just enough time
to do my exercises, surprisingly in the back garden where the sun made it
feel nice and warm, bloom’n freezing out the front in the shade before
Mag picks her up! Maeva helps Mag water the garden which see loves, then
with a picnic packed we drove over to Levington Marina to have lunch in the
van overlooking the Orwell, our windsurfing parking area was quite busy
with a couple of wingers just leaving, a family fishing and some walkers
but we managed to park near the big crane. Maeva loves having a picnic in
the van, we might not go away in it any more but still love our blue VW:)
The sun was out, the breeze offshore making it feel nice and warm with some
cool clouds moving over! We then set off for a walk, through the tree lined
path collecting twigs and bark, before making it to the far end of the
marina where we went onto the little beach to throw some stones in before
walking on hundreds of crunchy cockle shells which was really good. Back at
the marina we spotted a kingfisher several times as it sat on the pontoon,
it actually flow right over my head towards the picnic area! Getting tired
now Maeva actually got into the buggy to be pushed back! At the van we had
our cuppa and chocolate bar, well deserves as we were surprised to have
walked over two miles! On the drive home Maeva promptly fell asleep, she
certainly lives life to the full, top day was had by all:)
